“BAF Shaheen College Chattogram” is a glorious and traditional name in the educational field of Chattogram. An educational institute directed by Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) under the rules and regulations of the Ministry of Education of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh and the Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Chattogram. Since establishment in 1978, the academic curriculum (Bengali Medium) was only limited to Secondary level. But considering the requirement and increased students, the school was upgraded to a higher secondary level during academic year 1985-86. That was not the end. BAF Shaheen School continued to progress in all sphere. To mark the Excellence in education, the school launched the English version under National Curriculum in 2006 and the college section in 2014. Since then this institute is known as BAF Shaheen College Chattogram. Here in Bengali Medium and English version, co-education programs are being run from kg to twelfth class. In addition, to develop the underlying qualities of the students, the curriculum is not only limited to study the prescribed books but also to variety of co-curricular activities.

BAF Shaheen College Chittagong was established in 1978 by the Bangladesh Air Force. It added a higher secondary section in the 1985-86 academic year. In 2006, English-medium instruction in the National Curriculum and Textbook Board curriculum was introduced for classes 2 through 5. It is operated by the educational wing of Bangladesh air force.The college is located in the Bangladesh Air Force's Jahurul Haque Base in Chittagong,[2] in the airport area of Patenga Thana.[3] It has a huge field on its front. It has a new building of five stories that is combined with the old building. Every year an inter shaheen football competition is held here and recently ctg shaheen has hatrike in winning this in March 2018. Classrooms and others BAF Shaheen College Chittagong now has virtualized classrooms. All new classrooms now has projectors installed. Now teachers can teach their students by using their laptops. BAFSC has recently upgraded its security. Now CCTV runs all over the campus. BAFSC has a library in its 2nd floor run by Liberian and his assistant. There are four types of labs in BAFSC.They are computer, physics, chemistry and biology. Generally teachers run the labs and helps students to do practical lessons on their subjects.know more...
